Top 4 Free MMORPG's for the Year 2011 Upcoming 2012

Well hear we are again with yet another top list.  No not top 10, this one is top 4.  Why? because I was in a rush and I couldn't even think of any games worthy of putting on as 5.  Well, I could do my quick add to 7 now with 3 other ideas but I don't really play them or have them installed to go get screenshots so I'll just puncuate them as. (wow, kotar and eq2x).  Auteria is nice to and worth a shot and I will most likely include it in my future updates, a top 5 perhaps.  Well, free mmo's really are the shxdt and I know that I constantly find myself searching for "top mmo" on youtube so I finally decided that I would do a top list of my own.  Here we go.

#4.  Gunshine.  Gunshine.net is a pretty sweet game which I have found myself already having had multiple hours of fun with it decided that it was noteworthy.  The leveling can be somewhat tedious, but what game doesn't?  Today I got well from level 10 to 12 while waiting for RoMs to download.  12 is still quite a ways away from the level cap 30 but I imagine that I will still come back to this.  It's a facebook game so it's probably pretty easy to get your friends to play with you, but who cares?  You can level and get new items/equips on your own so if it's fun enough for solo you can still PK randoms in on of the games several PVP rings for kicks when you get tired of grinding enemies for more exp/money/manufacture products.  The crafting system in this game takes absolutely zero time to learn and is of minimal headache to figure out how to craft greater weapons to destroy your foes with.  The hardest part is just collecting the crafting products but you wouldn't really want it to be that easy.  The controls are 90-99% mouse controlled so it can get really boring but it leaves your freehand open to do other things, like scratch your face or shove random unsponsored food products into your mouths.  It takes about 5-10 seconds to load so you can be in there bashing people over the head with a wrench in no time so what are you waiting for.  Go check it out!  http://www.gunshine.net
#3.  Zezenia zezeniaonline.com  Zezenia is a pretty obscure game that practically no one you know will know about.  It's original though in the fact that you can pretty much out and kill anybody you see almost anywhere.  As long as they are not in one of the games few safe zones, they are pretty much your prey.  As long as you don't kill TO many people and wind up getting your name turned red for a week or so you should be pretty good.  Pretty much it goes like this.  You start playing and trying to figure out how to get off the games tutorial island which is a real bish, I'm not lying.  But once you get to main you can explore the map and just level as fast as you can, because you get about 20, all of the nooby little level 8 wanna' be power abuser brs are like your lunch, and that is where the game really starts to get fun.  Once you get that high you can just walk out to the hunting places and start killing random creatures and stuff to get gold and loot and then you see another player and your like.. "What in the hell does he think he's doing?".  Then you hit like F12 or some hotkey that hit's them with a really powerful attack and you headshot them and then you take their loot and your profit goes up 2x/hr and you laugh and laugh and then just go back to killing creatures trying to get level 21.  It get's rather addictive at times and getting on the high-scores board is a little bit easier now since they reset everyone back approx. Jan. 2011 after they fixed a bunch of cheats players were using.  So I think that this game is better than Tibia because it's damm near impossible to bot and everyone you see that is on there is legit, albeit mostly brs but there are a few descent speaking English players.  Kukironosuke - Platon.  So hurry up and start stomping other players and thieving their loot!  For a great time that is sure to frustrate you in the starting stages but definatly payoff in fun factor as you advance go to: zezeniaonline.com
#2.  Runes of Magic RoMs might actually be a bit of an over-hyped game to be on my list in my opinion but what the hell.  I'm only level 33/80 or some shid like that so I haven't really seen the games full potential just quite yet.  It's kind of fun at times, I almost PK'ed a guy once but he made it into town and I was pretty sure that the guards would've one shotted me had I kept following him as he ran to safety so I let him go.  This game can kind of piss me off at times because there are the same people that will just walked around and constantly gank you just for fun.  I found it pretty easy to join guilds that had working/active ventrilo's so that was a plus, but they'll kick you if you're inactive, ofc.  Although I'd imagine that it wouldn't be all to hard just to wander back into town and find one of them hanging around outside the guild castles and whatnot.  You can upgrade your house with stuff so that you can get increased EXP gains and neat stuff like that and it's definitely worth a shot if you got the PC to handle it's higher system requirements than some of these other games.  http://us.runesofmagic.com/us/downloads,id4,runes_magic_client.html  Go try it and if you really like it set the graphics to high and drool to your hearts content while I'll most likely be busy playing...

#1. TIBIA!!!!

Tibia is the most MMORPG known to man in the existence of time.  It has been around since before there were computers so it's certain that it has been being perfected to prime since before you were even thought of.  This game has everything, and when I mean everything I mean it doesn't have nothing, it has all of the above.  Swords, axes, arrows, summoned demon skeletons, fake summoned demon skelotin traps, more traps, safe traps, bad traps to be trapped in, kick ass sudden death runes and magic levels.  Pauses for breath, high levels, low levels, mid levels, low levels that you can one hit for fun, low levels that are suprisingly resilient and can withstand quit a bit of damage, uhm what else.  Mounts, free account mounts.  Premium mounts, mounts that you could aonly get once and now are impossible to get, backpacks of holdings and boots of haste.  Grasshopper legs, beetle necklace, elite draken mail etc.  I may have forgot a few things here or there but I wouldn't want to spoil all of the fun for you.  If anyone knows of any better games please let me know.  Just leave a comment here or on the youtube video because if I told you to email me it'd just be a big waste of time for the both of us because I never check them.  Go play https://secure.tibia.com/account/?subtopic=downloadclient

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy shoot leaked online.to

Looks like she's got a Marilyn Monroe hairstyle.  People are already bitching about how there is no full frontal shots and that the pictures look airbrushed.  Apparently she got paid $1million for these so she shouldn't have any problems with her Christmas shopping this year.  The fact that the photos got leaked online just makes it an even bigger scandal.

Latest Scheme

Well I just had to go somewhere to write about what I've been doing lately.  It's a pretty good formula I think.  Not only the theory behind it but in practice, the implementation of it is somewhat fun as well.  If not a learning process, I've been hearing the latest greatest music while figuring out which remixes will summon a copyright notice on youtube.  It goes like this, STEP 1, I'll go to billboard.com and see what the Top 10 songs are and pick out one of them to target.  Then I fly over to soundcloud.com and search for a remix of this song.  Once I've got 2 or 3 of them I'll go to altavista.com (now owned by Yahoo! supposedly, someone's trying to make a comeback ;P) anyway yeah, at altavista I'll click the images search and then try to find a suiting image.  Lately I've been using the most sex object lookingest pics as we all know the old formula of sex+violence+???=PROFIT!  Theeeeen, I open up Windows Movie Maker (2.6) and toss in one of the remixes and the pic.  Set pic display length to match the length of the song and then hit make movie.  Once it's finished I hop back over to youtube and upload it.  Then I toss on the title: "Artist - Song Name (Remix Name)"  then put one of my adf.ly addresses in the comment and then fill in the keywords like this: "Artist Song Name Dubstep Remix".  I just always call them Dubstep remixes, even if it is just electronica or whatever remix.  I don't know, I just figure that's what I'd search for if I was the one searching, and I'm trying to get the most hits I can get because that little adf.ly link get's me like 1/3rd of a penny everytime it get's clicked on.  So that's what I've been doing.  That and hitting refresh to watch total views climb.  Can't wait to break a million. xD  Good luck in all you do and prosper ASAP because even old girls like money too ;P

Dreaded Assassins In RL

Dax put up a video of Dreaded Assassins RL pics so I had to post a link to it because I found it noteworthy.

The W32/Morto Worm

New in the news world today is something that has happened before in the past.  That's right, it seems that Windows Systems are now vulnerable to a new worm again.  These exploits occurs due to weak security measures taken by, who guessed it?..  users of remote desktop software who set up their passwords really lazily!  Weak passwords that can easily be obtained with brute force dictionary cracks are being taken over by storm.  That's right, whoever of you are still using your first name or the last 4 digits of your social are running a high risk.  Both servers and workstations are targets.  Neither are safe.

This will do not good.

Once the virus takes over a system it then connects to another server and checks if it needs to make any updates.  So if patches are made and you restart your machine while your AVG is starting up it will be too late because the boot sector has already triggered to update itself.  You mean I've got to reformat again?  Good thing I learned from last time and backed up all of my data, erhmmmmm.  Tools like Nmap, ettercap and Metasploit have been used to manually scan and find open holes in remote systems for years, and now this virus has been scripted to do all of this automatically and then report back to it's controllers with a wide array of system statistics to be stored in a database.  Imagine that, the attacker only has to then wait as the list of systems taken over increases.  They then have a spreadsheet full of addresses with the key codes and the size of storage available with instant access to bots that will do anything desired at those locations.  Sounds like the amount of control that Batman would have had to of used all of those microphones all over Gotham to track down the Joker.

Anyways, Morto, the "death" worm, can obtain these weak administrator passwords automatically, even on systems with all of the latest patches.  Now once a system has been accessed the virus then deactivates the local security measures like anti-virus programs and firewalls in order to protect itself, then it checks for local network connections systems with the RDP enabled.  It then starts creating new files..

\windows\system32\sens32.dll
\windows\Offline Web Pages\cache.txt
\windows\Offline Web Pages\1.40_Test Ddos
\windows\Offline Web Pages\<DATE>

..and many more.  The systems can then be commanded remotely to launch strikes to targeted sites via Distributed Denial of Service invasions, flooding a network's service traffic with endless packets requesting information.  This causes a slowdown as no genuine user inquiries to a service are able to process amongst all of the inordinate junk queries.  It's kind of hard to defend against DDoS attacks because once an IP address is targeted it's kind of hard to defend against an attack.  It'd be like trying to keep your mailbox from being repeatedly destroyed by teenagers with baseball bats by moving your mailing address.  They won't know where to hit it again until they figure out where you moved it to, or figure out your P.O. Box number.  That analogy is useless in trying to find a way to stop this kind of action because snail mail relies much less on seemingly instantaneous transmissions as the internet.  Hopefully some day some creative individual, like whoever thought up this simplistic idea of spamming a website to shut it down, will think up a way to circumvent these sort of battles.  Something like proxies that only reveal the correct direction to go when a captcha has been correctly entered, but then the attackers would most likely just go after the proxies.

Tibia Silvera Knight Training Again

Yep, just training again, as the screenshot, tags and title would suggest.  It get's kind of boring but what better way to make the time pass than by doing several other things at the exact same time.  Good old multi-tasking.  If I could find any other things to do at the same time I think that I might be a tibia playing prodigy.  First off, I get my skills on my main, axe and shielding, with a little bit of magic level at the same time.  63% -> 8 at the moment, quite a ways to go until the all covetable magic level 9 required in order to shoot magic wall runes.  I'll benchmark it here as something to look back at a later time and see how far I've come.  A butterfly flies past the screenshot above as I check out the other skills.  Mainly I'm trying to up my fishing skill(54) in order to get another skill on the top 300 board with this character.  61 or 62 is what it's going to take and I was just 51 or 52 earlier so at this rate I could make it very soon.  I think it will be funny so I'm wasting my time doing it, all while training axe/shi/mag on my main and skills on some alts who will make for very fun PK chars.  That and, I thought that there was another multi-tasking thing that was getting done there at the same time, blogging?  A little bit of club/fist experience?  Uhmmmm, what was it.  (Sips another beer.)  Hmmmm, online time to demoralize the teams we are warring against perhaps?  It's been a fun night, listening to Dreaded Assassins team rocking the map tonight on ventrilo.  They've been dropping tons of members from Overmaster, Flawless Allies tonight.  I wish I could be there but my premmy hasn't went through yet.  84 axe and level 105.  I am aspiring to obtain 90 axe in order to be able to profitably and leisurly hunt the dragon lords of deeper fibula, as noted in yesterdays post.  Also striving towards level 110 to try at that nifty looking Annihilation spell on some war enemies.  It's gonna' get good here sooner or later.  Do what I can for this team, train ;p and drop the fish off in the guildhalls and look up whatever I can for them while they're on the fly.  Keep killin' and training or whatever it is you do and may your drops be unblessed ,,//_

Tibia Knight Training Skill

Been training down in Fibula lately.  It's a pretty good spot with a protection zone right next to some wolf spawns for training shielding.  About as handy as the wolfs out east of the White Flower Temple but there is much less lamers wandering around out here.  I've been going about 4 hours at least good without seeing a single lamer pass by to kill the monsters training my shielding, like they probably would have at white flower temple tons of times by now.  I like this spot, I'm sure there's more but this one is working fine for now.  I find it a little funny because my main reason of wanting to train is to get Axe Skill 90 so I can hunt the dragon lords in deeper Fibula with the least amount of waste imaginable.  So I think that I have pretty much moved to Fibula.  I should go walk around sometime and see who all has houses here and vip them.  It's a nice peaceful village without a lot of disturbances.  I'm digging it at the moment anyway.  So relaxing, just fishing a little here and there and surfing around on forums reading about making money in massive multiplayer online worlds .  There's a bunch of interesting theories out there.  I read some threads with people talking about what the creators running those worlds do more to stabilize those economies.  It's really interesting.  Gogo powerlevel o/

Runes of Magic - Leveling on up

So since I last posted I've left my last guild on this game for a new one, Knightsofhonor. They seam to be a whole lot more active for they have a lot more guild members online anytime that I am on. Guild chat flourishes and they even have one of those voice chat servers that I am so prone to listening in on. I've been learning a little bit more and more on this game. A blog about it with this guy Swag who does a radio show also exists which is pretty interesting to listen to while playing. Anyway, I came on here with the interest of uploading a few screenshots at different levels in order to check out how fast my stats are going up. I am sure that to any veteran of this game they probably look terrible but I am just trying to get as high level I can as fast as I can and level 30 in about, 2 to 3 weeks? Doesn't sound like I have enough time to play, but still when I do get the chance it feels like I'm accomplishing something. Hopefully before long I can get some videos of fighting dragons on here. Until then...

Prius

Prius just launched earlier this year so I thought I'd do an article on it.  I've been playing it on Skype with my friend all night and I'm about to go to sleep but I just figured that I'd toss up some screenshots of it here first because It's pretty neat.

We started putting together a guild called WhiteRabbit and it's going pretty good.  So far we've almost got 20 people in it and I'm sure it'll just keep growing more and more tomorrow.  Steve already got to level 20 and got a mount so good for him.  I hope to catch up fast so we can run around and fight bosses.
So far I'm up to level 13.  It's a pretty gruesome grind but it can be done.  Apparently your pet, or Animus as they are called can revive you which sounds pretty convenient.  If you want to check it out it's @: http://prius.gpotato.com/

Tibia All Worlds Bug 7/12/2011

I don't know what to do in the meantime. I've just been running around on one of my alternate characters trying to get freitnzplx with all of the chaos going on. Half of both the warring guilds are all red/black skulled now and it's mass chaos. Just waiting to see how Cipsoft decides to try and sort this all out.

This bug has effected all worlds now so I think that it is pretty epic.  Aldora Amera Antica Arcania Askara Astera Aurea Azura Balera Berylia Calmera Candia Celesta Chimera Danera Danubia Dolera Elera Elysia Empera Eternia Fidera Fortera Furora Galana Grimera Guardia Harmonia Hiberna Honera Inferna Iridia Isara Jamera Julera Keltera Kyra Libera Lucera Luminera Lunara Magera Malvera Menera Morgana Mythera Nebula Neptera Nerana Nova Obsidia Ocera Olympa Pacera Pandoria Premia Pythera Refugia Rubera Samera Saphira Secura Selena Shanera Shivera Silvera Solera Tenebra Thoria Titania Trimera Uniteria Valoria Vinera Xantera Xerena Zanera .  All worlds effected.  I can only wonder if maybe Cipsoft planned this and they have some plan to track all of the characters that were abusing this bug in order to track down more cheaters and cleanse the lands of all of the cheaters.  It could be a hidden mass effect, but then again with Cipsoft's track record possibly not.  However, maybe something like this happening could lead them to thinking about possibly purposely introducing a bug with proper tracking systems implemented in order to catch the cheaters.  MAY YOUR LOOTS BE EPIC!  GO GET THOSE BOH'S WHILE THEY'RE STILL OUT THERE xD

Runes of Magic

I've been playing this one for a little while now.  Kind of like Tibia in a way.  It says when you die to pks they can loot some of your items, which sounds kind of interesting.  I'm just frustrated because I'm so new to it and I can't understand how all of these people I got higher level than keep kicking the life out of me.  I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.  Only idea that I've got on it so far is they either are paying a lot of money in order to get ahead or they've got some high levels that know how to get the really good items and pass them back to them.  I've seen people with armors that were way better than mine, so it's something to do.

In the meantime, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I can look back at these screenshots and just laugh at how big of a noob I was.  I hope that whoever is reading this is having fun with whatever game they are playing because I know I am for the moment.  Level 11/11 on my Knight Warrior.  Planning on hitting at least 12/12 tomorrow if I can find the time.

Why I think that everyone should MTURK! \o/

I've been trying to tell my friends about this service for the longest time but none has ever bothered to try it.  So this is what I am doing right now.  I'm putting together this little page to show exactly what it is like, why it is so cool and why they should do it.

First off, you know that I am in no way profiting from you trying it, because there is no referral link.  It's just mturk.com, pfft go try it.  See if you can beat one of my high scores for the last month.  I almost broke three dollars in one day, I think I've been up to like seven before once.

I mostly just moderate images anymore, because I think that it's fun.  They show me a big page of images and I click on which ones are bad and click submit.  BOOM PENNY!  The best part is I know that the money this site promises is real.  At least as much as you can order stuff off of amazon and they will mail it to you, because I've actually done that and it actually came in the mail: ex. Books, Cds, micro SD cards.

Here is an example of the hits available and the kind of search parameters that you can apply.  I mostly just do the image filtering ones so I just put in 'adult' and then click a little box that will only show the ones I am qualified for so it filters out some more junk.  Then I just do a couple of these and build up a balance.  I'm trying to save up for one of them Roombas at the moment, those little vacuum bots but those ones are like 250$ plus S&H.

Affs go the dreams

Well, my mage got a deaded, or two.  :/  I was hunting in the dragon lairs and I had just solo'd two dragon lords at once.  Feeling like one bad mage as I was exiting the cave another dragon lord appeared and one hitted me.  OMG those things sure do not like me.  So that knocked me back from level 66 to 65.  So then as I was out rebuying blessings I come across a dead body.  Nothing extra special, like 2k in botted gold was on the corpse but then some level 100+ mage appeared and told me to give them the loot.  I was waiting for battle signs to dissapear so I could just log out when he started tossing SD's on me.  Affs, I had only rebought 2 of my blessings and this fark decides it's a good idea to help me get downgraded to level 64.  OMG.  Well, anyways, magic level has suffered severly but so far I have gotten back up to level 65.  This game is too hard.  I hope that guy gets deleted for cheating so fast.  I found out where he lives though and I've got a few pk chars stationed there to check if him or any of his friends are ever there.  It's a pretty remote house around the inside of Kazordoon where I would imagine they might think it be okay to afk mana sit outside the door there with a small risk of getting pk'ed afk, but their odds of survival with that plan I hope to prove wrong ASAP.  Good luck and I hope your drops are good.

Calculating Magic Level

I've been playing Tibia for a pretty long while now.  The whole entire time just running around bumping into new people and always discovering these funny new places.  Sometimes you run across  fascinating things like players who think that it is a good idea to run around with way too powerful shields.  Strong shields which are quite a bit for someone want to drop while running around trying to get a thrill killing noobs.

One would have to be insane to consider it a good idea to slay other players while carrying such a valued item because being the first one to become agressive on other players makes it so that you are now being vulnerable to player attacks.

Too make a long story short I'll just say that it was a fun day the day I stumbled just north of north bridge and all the way left past the rabbits, snakes and bears at warwolf mountain.  I met a level 23 red skull player there and when he fell he dropped a crown shield.  I just think that it is awesome when your Damage Per Second (DPS) is so much higher than their current healing capabilities.
Consider http://www.tibia-stats.com/index.php?akcja=spellDmgCalc .  It can tell us that a level 23 mage with magic level 23 can use the Intense Healing healing spell for a max heal of 168.  The same site will also tell me that with Magic Level 52 my Death Magic for PVP will hit 260 max with Sudden Death runes.

Apparently if you drink enough manafluids on this game then you can get into the "Ha!Ha! I got Top 300 Magic Level" on this game.

http://en.tibiaml.com/ml_calculator.php tells me that it will cost 112,500 gold pieces to get from my current Magic Level 53 to 54.  It will then cost 123,750 to get from 54 to 55.

136,125 for 56.
149,760 for 57.
164,745 for 58.
181,215 for 59.
199,305 for 60.
219,240 for 61.
241,155 for 62.
265,275 for 63.
291,825 for 64.
320,985 for 65.
353,070 for 66.
388,395 for 67.
So, I'm getting there.  It might take awhile but I think that I can do it.  I've gotten top 300 distance before on my paladin and I'm currently top 300 Axe on my knight.  Top 300 fishing would be nice to get.  I'd think it would be neat to have top axe, club, fish, fist and...Sword?!(really hard to do because everyone is trying to get top sword) all on one character.  I think it would be easiest to do all of these on a knight character, because their melee skills rise the fastest, and they have 4 of them, compared to paladin and mages having one skill that will raise the fastest.  They could all do fishing but I think that I'm going to concentrate that one on my knight as well just so someday when I look him up on tibiaring it will show all of those skills listed together xD

Advancement on Entropia

Well I've been taking screenshots of some of my skills on Entropia and I thought that after almost a month it was time to compare some of the advancements.  All of these advancements where made doing nothing but sweating for free.  The higher they go the better my character account becomes and the better I get at sweating for longer, as they will be less likely to kill me.  I'll still possibly keep falling down but you can always just revive at the nearby teleporter for free.  However, if I'm getting knocked out less often that all means that I can sweat for slightly longer which mean higher profitability.
courage 113
athletics 97
dexterity 60
perception 36
alertness 31
bravado 24

courage 152
athletics 134
dexterity 69
alertness 42
perception 39
bravado 33

The one that I am mainly paying attention to is athletics, which is nice to see that it has gone up some.  Quit a lot actually, about 37 points in almost a month.  I think that this is a desirable skill to have because I think that it makes you run faster.  No idea what courage affects, I'll have to look these up.  The game says that courage is the ability to challenge danger and perform under pressure.  Maybe that means that the avatar is less likely to loose focus when being hit by a mob and be able to continue sweating without breaking concentration.  I can't really find anymore information on the courage skill at the moment besides just that general definition, but I did read about how storing your items in your storage boxes and carrying less will allow you to run faster, which is good because that's what I'm all about.  Until I can get a car I'm just gonna' see if I can get to where I can sprint faster than some of those cars because that would be hilarious.  Theoretically you might even think that it's possible as long as there is no skill cap, and just think what that would do for PVP, you'd be one of the hardest people to hit.

Drunk with Power

Well last night I started out playing around on my level 8 paly.  He's pretty bad.  Kicked off all updating my trolling threads on the forum using my broken English because I believes that it are the fun.  Well anyway, I got to the point where I thought that suiciding to a troll would make my character page all the more amusing just in case anybody happened to glance at it, they'd think that I was such a nub!
So I went about out on my quest of finding this troll and dropping all of my armor and letting him kill me.  As I advanced further into the dungeon what did I see but some careless level 17 knight just standing there.  I didn't know if his bot had crashed or if he had just went afk because his mom was yelling at him or some bull.  So he's all standing there getting attacked by like two(2) bugs, a rat and MY TROLL!  So what do I do?  Whatever some bored player might do on his level 8 troll char.  Open Fire!
So I'm just standing there all white skulled chuckin' spears at him.  They're hardly even connecting, I'm a bit out of practice and I've been getting killed a lot lately running around town causing mischief.  I feel kind of stupid about it actually.  Plummeting from near 60 distance down to around 44 now.  Sadface.  The last few hits blaze up in the 30's though and he's dead.  He must've been a bot because the lootbag I found myself busy burying moments later contained straight gold.  Like 800 worth, that and a rope.  Someone actually playing would probably have food or a shovel mixed in there with some weird creature products or something.
Well, he's dead and at that point I probably should've just suicided on the trolls as planned, but I always like the thrill of trying to outlive a white skull, so I just walked around the cave slowly killing trolls while still wearing my shield and training spears on full defense.  Klotariox Rican comes back anyway and is all 18:54 Klotariox Rican [16]: ahahaha as he tears me up with his serpent sword.  Frikkin' botter, so I run him around a little bit but he catches me and gets all of my empty vials so.........
I'm gonna' go check out the new Tibia Flash Client they just released.  Play on!

Making Money Playing Video Games

Now this one is cool.  I've been at this one for quite a while now off and on.  Well, more on than off here lately.  Entropia Universe is pretty fun.  Just the idea that everything done inside the game universe has the potential of earning money in the real world is so exciting.  For example, you could start out with nothing and spend like an entire 24 hours sweating non-stop and possibly walk away with 10$ USD.  Sure, in order to do this you would have to get really luck and find all of the right sweating spots and buyers, but the potential is amazing.  I assume that the players who admit to being able to make a profit now hunting on this game say they have 'invested' thousands of dollars to get where they are at now, but I think that they are just the games promoters.  That saying, I don't know if I'll ever get any profit out of this game, but you can be sure I'm trying.

Sweating is pretty boring at times.  It involves standing around one of the monsters in the game and aiming this sweat extracting gun.  You just sit there mis-firing and mis-firing until finally you hit one that actually seams to take, and even then it doesn't always work.  Anyway, you can get 1-4 vibrant sweat bottles at a time like this every time it works.  At the current market values every 50 of these bottles is equal to one cent.  So, as I've calculated, 50,000 of these bottles should be enough to exchange for 10$ and cash out.  It's gonna' take awhile though, I'm about 1/5th of the way there with 10k bottles saved up so far.

I'm sure that's not what I'm gonna' do though.  I've already committed a few bucks into this game to buy a few weapons to go hunting and it's kind of fun.  I'm still working to figure out the most efficient way to do this but it seams pretty tricky.  I don't quite know the ins and outs of this world quite yet you see.  But I do think that if I can actually get a grip on the values of creature products and decide on the most cost-effective way to kill them, maybe I can actually make some pennies hunting the monsters and taking them down for their loot instead of aiming that boring sweat gun.  As for now though, at least I know I'm building up some more bank in that game so maybe someday when I stumble across the right guide or person, I'll have half a shot at power-fisting some daikabu youngs for their animal oils in order to combine with the sweats and sell the mindforce extracts at a 101% profit margin.

War on Torn continued...

The leaders in my faction have a way with just throwing money at this game it seams.  They just keep refilling points and attacking and hospitalizing everyone on their team.  Then reviving them and doing it again until they need to run back to the gas station to buy another debit card it appears.  Something in the way, because I know our team is a lot smaller but we're still pulling more respect off of them.  They must not all be as active or seam to care or something, but it makes me pretty proud.  I remember joining this team a few years ago when Tool said that stuff like this would happen.  "Finally somebody declared war on us. Was wondering how long it would take."

It's gonna' be interesting to see how things turn out in the long run.  I don't know how long we can keep it up.  The other team we'd been warring with, I don't know what is going on there.  They are all just to inactive to care or something.  Never negotiating a peace treaty or surrendering or anything even though we just use them as punching bags.

War on Torn

Somebody finally contested our spot by declaring war on http://www.torn.com/346939 .  I don't know what we're gonna' do.  So far, we got more attacks on them but it's like they are winning because they've got more 'respect' points.
They have more 'respect' points than us because when they attack, they all do it at the same time.  Well, like, within 15 minutes of each other so it keeps a chain rolling.  They call it chaining.  They're just a little more organized than us at the moment.  It doesn't hurt that their team is larger than ours, has more members, that just give us more targets to hit without having to revive them each time.  We'll see how it turns out.

Axe wound Achievement On Torn

From the other day, the ones I was talking about I got the 1000+ computer crimes and 100+ crushing weapon finishing hits.  31 more busts to 1000 busts Award.  The timing of this was perfect.  It just wants me to keep playing.
It popped up on rewards like, the moment after I did my highest paying bounty hit ever.  400k.  So I'm like wow, never rocked a text game this hard before.  So now I can look at axes more and try and beat that record.  I'll just keep doing bounties to try to get that private island then I guess and busting to get the 1k busts Award.  Been camping Black Knights and Banshees still on Tibia.  Listening to guys on ventrilo talking about Grimms.

Hit a 400 on the Nose

I was trying to get this screen shot done right the other day while waiting in between the respawns.  They were always either too early or too late.  This one is just about perfect.
I haven't really had any epic banshee loots this month yet, but I already got a warrior helmet off of the Black Knight.  Just camping here and there, jumping from char to char to see what I can get.  That's a kind of fun way to do it sometimes when you want to get lazy/have time to do other things.  I just really like that screen shot.  Hits 'em for exactly 400, which was what I was aiming for.  Now to figure out how to hit a 450/500! >:D
Well, maybe if I can find something that is weak to a certain type of damage or just go to an ot.  Off to sell loots....

Nice Loot Shot

I had thought at first that the day was going to no be that good at first.  Went all the way to the black knight and he dropped like 56 gold coins.  LOL!  What is that stuff.  I'll try and hit him again later perhaps.  But then...
I wish stuff like that could happen more often.  A time ring and a spider silk drop at the same time. That's like a 10k drop in one Giant Spider.  Fun!  Fun!  So to celebrate I went to the Thais depot and threw out a bunch of trash amongst some other things.  Knight armor, some plate armors, steel helmet.  I've been needing to do that for awhile now, it's getting pretty full.  Still got more stuff to toss out amongst all of the amulets and rings I never plan to use.  That or just mail them to an alt.

Just so much junk that I can't get rid of.  No one wants knight armors anymore.  Some guy was selling Skullcracker Armor.  I almost spent money on it but I want to save up for Elite Draken Mail/Nightmare Shield/Helmet of the Ancients/Golden Boots, stuff like that.

Getting close to a few achievements on Torn

http://www.torn.com/346939

It seams that here lately I'm getting pretty close to quite a few milestone achievements on this game Torn.  Sometimes for weeks, months even sometimes I can go on this game just incessantly clicking away with apparently no goal.  I just keep getting on it doing what I'm used to, it's like a habit.  But sometimes after awhile of it and not getting any event notifications I start to doubt and wonder why I'm still doing it to no end with no noticed effect.  This is where Chedburn, creator of the game, got smart.  Every time you advance to a new achievement you get an event notice which also triggers ranks and merits.  It's just like Pavlov's dogs.
So later this afternoon, I imagine that I will complete at least 3 more computer crimes.  I'm pretty sure that something special happens when you hit 1000.  What else, finishing hits with clubbed weapons.  Just 19 more of them and I'll be able to adorn my name plate with some nifty little axes.  That's sure appeal to my savage side.  Why am I not clicking google ads again for this game yet?  Oh and, people busted, another 33 of them and BOOM! there's 3 merits right there.  After that I think I'll still be doing Bounties collected, because that private island is still a ways off.  Either 365 days playing or 15 USD$ in Donator packs sold.

The Zaoan Armor just isn't cutting it anymore.  I want to get that extra 2 Armor levels for blocking those danged Giant Spiders.  I hope I can find some high level that hunts Draken Elites that will sell me one for cheap.  They just look so new.

Just another Manic Monday

Well, today has been kind of fun so far.  I've figured out how to hit that 400+ I was talking about on my mage but I haven't managed to get the screenshot just right just yet, but I will.  A couple cool things have happened so far today.
First, we were training on a monk outside of the Thais depot today when some nub came up and killed it.  Boss got mad and said we were going to kill him so I got on a secondary character really fast and then came and scold on him.  He ran into some house with stairs and all tried to lose us and then something happened, I don't even know.  While I was hiding out on the rooftop watching my skull flash away, he must've either put down a field rune or hit the wrong hot-key or something, I never figured out what exactly, but when I came down I saw the dead.  I returned back to the front of the Thais depot to see if I could gather any clues as to what had happened and there was Boss, the killer, standing there skull free.  The nub must've screwed up somewhere.  Funny.
What else?  Oh yeah, I was messing around on one of my noob characters, geez it's amazing what you can get done with them in just one day.  Anyway, I came across this Level 15 knight just standing there on my 9 paladin.  So I did what any bored human would do in that situation.  OPEN FIRE!!!!  Well, he wasn't AFK it turns out and started poking me with his serpent sword. "OUCH!  That tickles!".  This was like, under guildhall, south of the rotworms down a hole to the east by some slimes if you know where I'm talking about.  So he starts chasing me and I'm thinking all, "Never give up, never surrender!".  I just kept running and running, clicking the map so that he couldn't keep up because noobs just sit there and lag holding the arrow key.  So my level 9 outruns this guy, I think he was hanging back killing all the rotworms on the way or something.  I'm standing to the far right of this long passage up above some stairs where there is a dragon.
Just sitting there, minding my own business, waiting to lose skull.  When who rolls up but...THAT STINKING LEVEL 15!  OMG, he's got some nerve following me all the way to this hallway.  I wait for him to get about 12 inches(30.5 cm) away from my face with that serpent sword and I hope down the stairs.  He must've figured me for some new player with skills comparative to his own because he didn't bother following me down those stairs.  Maybe because he was frightened of the dragon that live there.  As for me, I did not care.  If the dragon were to munch up my insides at least the single mana potion I had been carrying the entire time would more likely rot at the monsters feet than be rewarded to the guy who was chasing me.  Sure, I have no problem that he was defending himself, but when he followed me all of the way down that hallway, that's just getting pretty ballsy.  Not ballsy enough though, to follow that crazed lowbie into the dragon den.
I wasn't going to try to drop it with 54 distance and 1 mana pot so I just hopped down the next hole and waited out the skull after dropping the three minotaurs and 2 poison spiders.  Great Success!  I could've went back out past the poison fields, but rushing past that dragon with a max HP of like 140 is just so exhilarating.  Thinking that he can just one-hit you whenever he wants, I exited by roping back up the hole and doing just that.  It nibbled my arm a bit as I dashed past him but other than that I was okay as I made my way back up the the stairs to the beginning of that long passage.  I wandered my way out past all of the dead rotworms that whats-his-face bothered killing, maybe he did it on the way out?  I don't really know now, but they did all still contain food for the most part which will help me in my goal of getting from magic level 6 -> 10 before I advance to level 10.
So then, I traveled all of the way back up out of the ancient temple.  When I arrived at surface side I noticed a level 40 knight standing peculiarly next to a tree, but I tell that story some other time ;P

Taking my time

I hate being rushed just as much as the next guy.  You give me a deadline and I'll just fall asleep.  Let me make my own rules though and I'm more likely to pay attention.  I like doing stuff more when it feels like it's my idea.  Like for example, say I'm shoveling snow right?  Say it just snowed out and I'm out shoveling snow and then my dad comes out and points at a different part of the driveway and says something like, "You should shovel over here.".  I don't know exactly what it is but something like that is bound to set me off.

It's the equivalent of things like saying, "Hey, you there.  You know that thing that you're doing?  Ya', you should keep doing it because I said so.".  There I am, perfectly capable of exercising my human will to do what's right, getting something done, but so often someone has to come along and attempt to annoy me by commenting in someway which I suppose is just common sense to some idiots.  Like them telling me to do what I'm doing is going to make them feel more powerful or something.  Like then I'm doing what I was already doing but I'm doing it because they said so.  Reverse Psychology though would have it that I then find some reason to take a break. I was on my way to completing the job just fine and some upper-management guy needs to feel important.

So keep reading, and keep that cozy mouse nuzzled right in your hand, with your finger poised over the left-click button because it might almost be time to go and....

Pic not related, but I am getting really close to Level 103.

Hit 300+ on a GS

Tibia is one of my favorite games.  It just goes on forever and ever.  I'm in a pretty good guild, one of the top ones on my server(Silvera) after playing for 5+ years.  Dreaded Assassins are coming up pretty fast and might be somewhat of a competitive force to the rulers of the world, Inferno/Flawless give it a little more time.  I have some worries that our leaders might just retire or just get accepted into one of the ruling guilds but whatever.  I still got my spot.  This game, you can just keep going and going on it.  There's just no limit.  Once you've reached one of your goals it's just that much easier to set a new one.  You can just keep setting the bar higher and higher.

This screenshot shows me hitting a 300 on a Giant Spider.  I'm pretty proud of that.  But now my goal is just to try and hit a 400+!  I don't even know if a 500 is even possible after that.  Probably.  It just takes so much time training skills.  You can go from pretty much nothing.  When I first started I was getting killed by little bugs and rats left and right, thinking that that was frustrating.  Now, when I play this game, I pretty much feel like a powerhouse.  It's unreal.  When stuff get's me down in Real Life I can just hop on this game and tear some monumental bosses to shreds.

I've come a long way and I only plan on going further.  I don't know if anyone ever really beats this game.  People just eventually give up and retire.  The quest to be the top mage.  You could be the highest level with the highest skills but you still need a team.  Because even if you are Level 500, 2 or 3 Level 400's could take you down.  It takes a lot of time and organization to get anywhere in this game, and I'm not too sure if it's really all worth it but I know that it is a lot of fun.

Voice chat is another thing in this game that makes it more appealing.  Sure, you can just type stuff to people and have a conversation but I find it a whole lot more exhilarating to be talking to your team-mates on a headset as you venture into the dragon cave.  It does get a little tiresome once you get strong enough to no longer fear the dragons but it's still fun going after those rare loots, and you never know when the player killer teams are going to come and try and drop you in order to get your Boots of Haste.
